ASUS Intros the GeForce GTX 1070 DUAL Graphics Card

ASUS introduced its fifth GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, the GTX 1070 DUAL (model: DUAL-GTX1070-O8G). This card mates a custom-design PCB by ASUS with dual-fan (though not DirectCU II) cooling solution. This cooler features a cooler shroud that has the same design language as some of ASUS' mainline X99 II and Z170 series motherboards. The cooler features a pair of wing-blade fans that have low noise footprint. The card offers factory-overclocked speeds of 1582 MHz core, 1771 MHz GPU Boost, and an untouched 8.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory. The card draws power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Display outputs include three DisplayPorts 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0b.

Well, you know, they just want to point out that unlike everyone else that has TWO fans, they have DUAL fans. No deception there. :rolleyes: Any other misinterpretation on consumers' part was deliberate, and hoped for by ASUS. :cool:

Toothlessit would be based on build quality and customer service in the end
Damn I miss those days !!
Back when XFX had like a couple 5870's, then the 290X's all of sudden 4or5 cards, and indeed very special digit in the part number had better[lifetime?] warranty.

Too much confusion/manipulation= preying on some consumers.

Well, at least it has a nice white shroud. I like this one visually a lot more than the others.
Yea, you thought the same thing I did.. "Oh cool, two gpu's in a new kind of configuration". Right? lol
Piqued my interested there for a second too.

Bought 2 of these, they preform well, but... they really do look cheap and nasty, with no back plate either, just nasty....
