Crytek's Hunt: Showdown Now Available Through Steam Early Access

The wait is over: Crytek has announced that Hunt: Showdown is now available via Steam Early Access, priced at 29.99 EUR/USD and 25.99 GBP. Hunt: Showdown is a competitive multiplayer bounty hunting game that combines PvP with PvE elements in a handcrafted sandbox environment. "We want to take this opportunity to thank everybody who participated in closed alpha testing," said Hunt Producer Fatih Özbayram. "It was essential for us in our continuing developments, and we are grateful to have such a dedicated community this early in the game."

"Early access is a big milestone for the team, and we are all excited to finally be releasing Hunt: Showdown out into the wild," said Hunt: Showdown Creative Director Magnus Larbrant. "With Hunt, we wanted to make the game that we, as gamers, have always wanted to play ourselves: tense, dark, addictive, terrifying-a real adrenaline-pumping experience. We have the foundations laid out, and now with the support and input of the community during early access, we can polish that experience together."

Realllllly not in a great state right now.

Wait.

EDIT: And while it's a semi co-op monster hunter, following that completion - yes it's just another Battle Royale game.

The aim and camera movement looks like they are using a gamepad not a mouse in all the videos I've seen ( slow and have some sort of delay), and I was very certain that all of them are using gamepads until I read somewhere on steam that it doesn't support a gamepad so there is something very wrong in aiming the weapon or moving the camera in this game!!

You know. Its a shame they couldnt keep there employees together and more or less fell apart. CryEngine 1 was a master piece and I had mega high hopes for the company after the crysis series. Seriously.

If it where at least a new crysis game, i would had happily bay it. Even throw it whas not finished yet. I know they can make great games. They showed us it with the crysis series and i am come to the point where i find no more plesure going throw crysis 3 any more. I need a new game and have been waiting for it since 2013. But i am afraid that crysis 4 is not gonna happen any more.

Maybe a petition to crytek can give us what we really want and what crytek is famoues for the crysis series beside the first far cry game. Who's with me?

The only thing Crytek should be doing is just license their engine so that other developers have a chance to create new games with it. Cough...Epic...Cough.
Good things like this shouldn't go to waste.

When I say Crytek, I say Far Cry 1 and Crysis 1.
All of their others games are not mentioning....
