MSI Registers 29 Upcoming Ampere Graphics Cards With The EEC

MSI has recently registered 29 new graphics card codes with the Eurasian Economic Commission which are all expected to be upcoming NVIDIA Ampere models. These codes have been registered as "Video Cards" and coincide with NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce Special Event on September 1 where the GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs are expected to be announced including the much-rumored NVIDIA RTX 3090. The codes include 3 main sets with 02-V388, 602-V389, and 602-V390 which coincide with previous generation MSI graphics cards. The V388 likely refers to the RTX 3090, the V389 with the RTX 3080, and the V390 the RTX 3070 if following the same pattern as the GeForce RTX 20-series.

DuxCroIs AMD planning for 2020 release of RDNA 2 cards?
Yep. To quote Lisa Su:
In 2019, we launched our new architecture in GPUs, it's the RDNA architecture, and that was the Navi based products. You should expect that those will be refreshed in 2020 - and we'll have a next generation RDNA architecture that will be part of our 2020 lineup.

Yes, 2020 has been confirmed several times but as for date the only thing we have is a statement from Lisa Su saying the cards will be out before the console launches.

A stunning observation... and almost as much use to the TPU community, as my reply to that nonsense.... No one cares.

On a real note; I wish these cards would just come out already.. then the fanboys and general idiots will have real data to argue about and not rumours of speculation.

Yup. Can't wait for these cards to get in the hands of TPU, Guru3d, JayzTwoCents and Gamers Nexus. Those are my go to sites and YT channels.

My imagination fails me... 29 Ampere cards, even if I drop "relevant for the 1st of Sept" requirement, seriously...

Oh boy, maybe you need to see a doctor, or something?
edbeafter nVidia official launch.. AMD will introduce NAVI 2.. and nVidia will relaunch.. again..
But no events are planned by AMD so far, or?

Besides, they could play the same game, only releasing bits and pieces relevant to known released stuff by NV.

29 SKUS again? We'll be well over 60 from each AIB partner by the time Xe launches.

If releasing MOAR products makes a company better than it's competitor, then Intel wins all the things.
