Cooler Master Announces ORB X, a Fully Immersive Multi-Purpose Station, Available for Waitlist Registration

Delicately designed and crafted, the Cooler Master ORB X introduces a whole new level of immersion, comfort, and luxury. With seamless hardware and software integration, ORB X aims to create a premium and private environment for users to immerse in by elevating their visual, audio, and comfort experiences as well as giving a sleek and futuristic appearance that can fit in any occasion such as business, entertainment, or gaming setup.

ORB X creates an atmosphere of immersion by the semi-enclosed design provided with a fully automated motorized shuttle dome, keeping users away from distractions and enabling an uninterrupted privacy mode for them to focus on what truly matters. Users will have the privilege of selecting either one 34-inch monitor or three 27-inch monitors based on their needs. The surround sound speakers directly housed in the station will give users a realistic, accurate, and dynamic audio experience even without the hassles of wearing headphones for long hours.
Designed for gamers and professionals, ORB X is beyond a gaming cockpit and works as a multi-purpose station allowing users to stay productive or simply relax and have fun, fulfilling diversified needs for work, entertainment and gaming use. Besides the immersive experience, customized preferences and long-lasting comfort are also key. A newly designed ergonomic recliner provides an adjustable headrest, lumbar support, and leg rest for customized comfort to ensure that users stay productive and competitive for the long haul. With these multiple adjustments in seating position as well as reclining angle, ORB X makes an ultimate personal experience possible.

By applying new technologies for user experience enhancement, ORB X brings immersion, comfort, and technological luxury to a new level with a mission to perfect and enhance user's immersive experience.

If my boss offered me this, I mean, I wouldn't say no. It would be nice to be more comfortable at work. This looks more comfortable to be fair.

Yea but what they AREN'T telling you....

is that once you are comfortably seated & connected to your employer's everyverse, the top & sides close down & locks you in inside, so you can only get out when your boss/company wants you to...

Hopefully, this sorry-ass lookin contraption includes a built-in urinal, poopchoot, food/beverage dispensers, and trash disposer, hehehehe :)

No way it has a trash disposer. Only a fool would create a machine capable of throwing it's creator out...

If I had that kind of disposable income... Maybe I'll catch them one on Black Friday 2025 on a pre-approved loan. :pimp::pimp::pimp:

The viability of this all depends on cost.

Since it's not a new concept in the slightest, it needs to be relatively affordable; For around $5000 you could pay a professional carpenter to fabricate something similar to this but tailored to your own design.

Add a toilet and minifridge, then I imagine many members here will never get up again from the PC

Agreed. I looks bizarre and dorkish, but also very comfortable. I'm reminded of something...

Would there be room for two?
DeathtoGnomesdoesn anyone remember Mork from Orks egg?

Not a new concept. Amazon has the Imperatorworks motorized reclining gaming chair and Acer has the predator motorized reclining chair. I believe they even give you a massage and some of them have heated seats. Although the cheapest diy model would probably be the Imperator version at $3500 for the chair without monitor and pc. I believe the Predator was going for 10k with yesterday's tech.
Putting one of those MSI 49 inch qd oled at 240hz would be nice or 8k dp 2.1 monitors by Samsung in the pipeline.

Only guys I know spending that kind of money on seating are S.I.M. racers and their driving rigs. Should come with pedals, shifters and steering wheel options.

Those things just aren't practical and relevant. when you have to go to the toilet every now and then, or the to the fridge just to get a drink you would have to get trough a whole process of getting out and the getting back in again... all gaming pods are like that.

looks like an egg shaped futuristic self-clean mall toilet for those who don't mind a little exposure. Some nice perks too... whilst taking a poop watch some tele, listen to some music or read a book. Maybe im getting old, it looks kiddish. I prefer my ~£80 squeaky man-chair on wheels
