The last several drivers were nothing but 2000 series (not that I blame them).
"Call of Juarez DirectX 10 Crossfire performance improves up to 42% and single card performance improves up to 34% on all ATI Radeon HD 2000 series products"
how the hell they do that???
34% improvement is huge, the call of juarez benchmark will surely run far better
I wish they fixed Crysis Crossfire, but the driver might(Just might not be in the note)
I mean, I understand they want to keep up with the latest fad game, and are still in high competition with nVidia, but what about those of us still diggin the older games that haven't gone legacy yet . . . like Thief: Deadly Shadows or Doom3?
Have we forgotten the CS:S, HL2 fog issue that was fixed?
Unless, ATI has something up their sleeve between the two breeds, maybe like giving the 2ks their own line of driver releases at some point - but, I really don't see ATi doing that.
PGA 2008 Poor performance.
IL-2 with the 4 addons in OpenGL land texture problem.
could probaly think of more but want to try this FEAR XP2 demo lol.
Also, have you actually submitted a ticket?
The AA fog issue is not a ATI only issue. Neither is the texture problems with IL2
7.9's made a mess of Armed Assult but happy that the beta 7.10 fixed that though :).
I find it very annoying with this kinda thing - i dont care if it runs 300% faster after an update, it should have ran great from the start. All this means is that less 'important' (arma, IL2) games dont get the fixes and run like crap or artifact, while teh popular games get fixes rushed out.
and btw, i think this for ati and Nvidia - so far i've only had problems with Nv's beta drivers and new games, and its always been a performance issue, never artifacts/crashes.
