In a way, I had the idea that the custom title already served this purpose. It's nice that we are getting these community features. Keeps thing fresh.

Hope no egos inflate over this.

Are the 'hidden posts' going to stay a mod-action only or is going to be something us users can suggest via the report button?

he seems to be revamping the old badges (thank goodness) so he is redoing the entire system, in a week things will look and be implemented better

Guru is religious in nature... Sage is better than Guru but not by much. Scholar should be in there some where but undecided on where.

You could simply not use titles and use nth: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on.

Could SI-prefix them:
Giga-<title>
Mega-<title>
Kilo-<title>

If you really want to techify it:
GiBi-<title>
MeBi-<title>
KiBi-<title>

You could actually change the prefix to reflect the rank among all members then only show the top three. The more active the section, the higher the prefix.

I for one am totally confused. I've got multiple badges for which I am in no way representative for. The most glaring is the AMD processors badge. I feel there are many members on here that might also agree with me about my lack of qualification in several areas.

I will gladly claim the Gaming one, though!

Clearly seems to be a work in progress as tags are changing quicker than I can hit F5!

I agree with rtwjunkie. While I guess I might be considered an expert in terms of the technologies and electronics "theory" for how monitors work, I sure would not consider myself an expert in terms of advising a poster on which monitor he or she should get. If someone asked me for monitor advice based on that tag, I think they might be disappointed in my response.

Titles are better for a general audience. Replaced guru with Virtuoso, as recommended by online thesaurus

I'm open to more ideas

Virtuoso is better than Guru but Virtuoso is usually related to music and art. I really like the SI-prefix approach because it fits the theme.
