Frame loss across the board. PLEASE HELP

Run memtest86 for a single pass which may take 1 to 2 hours. If there are no errors, then the RAM is not the issue and I would start checking the drives.

Should I do anything to correct these 10010 Errors? Also the windows update shows lots of errors as well especially the cumulative update. This update never installs when all the rest of the windows updates do.

Should I do this on a flash as previously suggested or should I just run it on the drive installed?

Sorry, I should have read first. It specifically states that you should run it from a bootable flash. I will run this now. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU HELPING ME!!!!!!

After doing some quick research, I believe you can safely ignore those. May want a second opinion though as I'm by no means an Event Viewer guru.

I did see that they could just be ignored that they are mostly used for software dev's to optimize programs.

That's what I read as well. But again, don't necessarily take my word for it

Ignore the rest, I have 20k errors.

Run memtest86 on a flash drive for 1 pass.

I don’t know why I’m having problems booting from the flash. It keeps booting me right back into windows. I even changed the bios settings to uefi only and boot priority to the flash and still boots me into windows

Ignorance again... where would this be exactly? Im sorry!
Backtracking to this reply since I'm home. This is what I was wanting to see.

Overview and Summary: Critical, sorted by most recent event.

There's likely a setting in the BIOS (I believe it's called boot override or something of the sort) to manually select which drive to boot to (different than changing the boot order). Maybe memtest wasn't properly installed on the flash drive?

Try to get a boot menu by pushing on the keyboard F10/11 or F12 of the drives, and select the flash drive. You can interrupt the boot sequence by pressing the Pause key on the keyboard.

I’ve tried all keys to get a boot menu with no success. I even looked up asus key to be sure (says it’s f8) also with no success. Why is this such a pain in the arse .

Maybe I’m completely missing something.

In bios, I enabled CSM, changed boot to UEFI only, selected the flash as boot priority (since I can’t figure out how to get into boot menu outside of the bios) and continuously boots to windows. I even tried pause key and it doesn’t interrupt boot.

There's a Boot override option under the Boot tab/menus on top that should allow booting from the flash drive when selected.

this was after 1.5 hours running. Anything I should do?

I am seeming to get locked at 100-120. I have all in game settings set as low as they get. No gsync enabled, no overlays, etc.
Those are the sort of framerates that my old 2700K gets (see specs). I know your CPU is much newer than mine, runs at a higher clock speed and has better multitasking, but I don't know what its gaming performance is like. Mine was a monster for its day. This game's engine is quite taxing too and it's hard to get really high framerates out of it.

The slow RAM speed could be making a difference here for sure. Definitely try fast RAM modules, like the others are suggesting.

This is Ryzen. 2133 MHz RAM is definitely the problem. DOCP not being stable is another problem suggesting OP should probably not use two identical kits together, just use one of them or buy a kit of 64 GB of RAM at 2933 or higher. That kit is intended to be run 2x 16GB.

I was having my doubts that the CPU could just take 64 GB at 3200 MHz that easily, the errors were expected.

The Op could try a lower memory frequency of 2933 MHz if 64 GB is needed. It might be alright at 2933?

It is definitely the memory. I moved from 2 modules to 4 and had to dial down the mem frequency to 2933Mhz. While with 2 it was running stable at 3600Mhz to my surprise.
I would start with the memory since he's got errors with the memtest. If that is passed with no errors try game FPS and see what you will get. If there are still stability issues, I'd reinstall windows.

I'm thinking the same, if the kit is intended to run with 2x16 GB with specified timings, it cannot run 2 x (2 x 16) with the same timings and being stable at the same time. That's why it's best to buy 4 packed DIMMs if you plan on using all 4 slots that need to run at specific (most likely less tighter) timings.

OP can try lowering the speed to 2933. Though, returning two of the sticks may be the best course of action here. Or returning them both and buying an actual 64 GB kit that's on the QVL list.

i bought them and have been fighting with them for about a year so no shot on a return lol. Ill buy a (4) module kit if that will fix the issue. Or, I could also just uninstall one of the kits?

Or should I just try to change the clock speed down to the 2933?

Try lowering the clock speed first. If that still throws out errors, try one 2x 16 GB kit.

If that doesn't work either, get a singular 4 DIMM 64 gb kit, not two separate kits. Refer to the QVL list

You could try uninstalling one of the kits, but no guarantees. Your best option would be to lower the clock speed, and then uninstalling one of the kits, to see if a specific one is causing the problem or if it's caused by mixing two separate kits. If that doesn't work, buy a singular kit 4x16. Refer to the QVL list as post above says.

is there a link for this list?
