The Quadro K2000D was a high-end professional graphics card by NVIDIA, launched on March 1st, 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the GK107 graphics processor, in its GK107-301-A2 variant, the card supports DirectX 12. The GK107 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 118 mm² and 1,270 million transistors. It features 384 shading units, 32 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. NVIDIA has paired 2,048 MB GDDR5 memory with the Quadro K2000D, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 954 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz (4 Gbps effective).
Being a single-slot card, the NVIDIA Quadro K2000D does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 51 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI, 1x mini-DisplayPort 1.2. Quadro K2000D is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface. The card measures 202 mm in length, 111 mm in width, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 599 US Dollars.
