The Radeon R5 M230 Rebrand was a graphics card by AMD, launched in May 2014. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Sun graphics processor, in its Sun LE variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Sun graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm² and 1,040 million transistors. It features 320 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. AMD has placed 2,048 MB DDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 780 MHz, which can be boosted up to 850 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz.
Being a igp card, its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Radeon R5 M230 Rebrand is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x8 interface.
