The Radeon RX 6400 will be a graphics card by AMD, that is expected to launch in the future. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Navi 24 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon RX 6400. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon RX 6500 XT, which uses the same GPU but has all 1024 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon RX 6400 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 768 shading units, 48 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. The card also has 12 raytracing acceleration cores. AMD has paired 4 GB GDDR6 memory with the Radeon RX 6400, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1800 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2000 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps effective).
Being a dual-slot card, the AMD Radeon RX 6400 draws power from 1x 6-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 100 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort. Radeon RX 6400 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface.
