The Mobility Radeon HD 4670 Mac Edition was a mobile graphics chip by ATI, launched on September 16th, 2009. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the M96 graphics processor, in its M96 XT variant, the chip supports DirectX 10.1. Since Mobility Radeon HD 4670 Mac Edition does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The M96 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 146 mm² and 514 million transistors. It features 320 shading units, 32 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs. ATI has paired 256 MB GDDR3 memory with the Mobility Radeon HD 4670 Mac Edition, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. Being a mxm module card, its power draw is rated at 35 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device.
