EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW LE Detailed
EVGA's high-end air-cooled GeForce GTX 670 FTW graphics card, which launched with the rest of the GTX 670 lineup, is largely based on the GeForce GTX 680 NVIDIA-reference design, including its cooler and PCB, and features clock-speeds of 1006 MHz GPU and 6208 MHz memory. The company recently launched a newer SKU based on the same exact design, the EVGA GTX 670 FTW LE, which goes lighter on the clock speeds. The EVGA GTX 670 FTW LE (model: 02G-P4-2676-KR), features a GPU base clock of 941 MHz, GPU Boost clock of 1019 MHz, and 6008 MHz memory, which is still a notch above NVIDIA-reference speeds. It is priced at US $390.

C'mon, start giving us some heatpipe action!
Buying EVGA cards makes absolutely no sense to me. pay more, get less.
Although don’t get me wrong this is fine chip and for the "plug-it and forget-it crowd" (that's a lot of what Nvidia cards have gone too) it's still a very nice card, but right now Egg has it for $340 –AR$30 so a decent Bfb! I like it but wonder if it need the FTW board if it's OC'n might not be it's strong suite, but heck an "non-smurf" board and nicer cooler is hard to pass up.
It has me singing ♪saved my pennies and I saved my dimes♪ over some pricey factory OC’d GTX660Ti for $300
Mycroscopic observation of little screws... You can open card change cooler, install backplate, install waterblock... their blocks or others never mind, but It's good because offer and finished water cooling graphics for custom systems with far best and modern design on market.
Some people want cold case not 70% of hot air from card in case.
VRM and RAM on EVGA cards are absolutely competitive with best MSI Lightening and ROG cards...Classified even better. Rest is on NVIDIA and chips.
Example if I change cooler on my graphic I loose warranty, if I RMA card GIGABYTE will open and see differen paste or thermal material = no more warranty.
I got warning remove stock cooler I lose warranty.
Ask people what happen when they buy some EVGA stock, FTW, Classified card and want water block.
I can't imagine watercooling system with something other than EVGA HC cards or EVGA stock and their waterblock, or their stock cards and Koolance block.
But again some people love stock cards, they loved that, simply that's me and many more people... Nothing better for us than stock design or close cards but with double RAM and best VRM and other parts inside and excellent PCB...and cooler blow all air out of case....everything inside competitive with Lightening and any other...
Why should i pay 400$ for this

And blowing "hot air" into your case is barely relative to today's ventilated cases. Minimal air circulation prevents any overheating to components.
I prefer somewhat hotter air that goes into the case for 2 seconds for 10-12c on core temperature.
