I love Snowrunner and put quite a few hours in it since launch.
A game with similar theme built on an improved version of this engine is almost guaranteed purchase from me. I won't be preordering though, which turned out to be a good choise with Expeditions, which turned out to be pretty meh after reading people's reactions after launch.

It looks like this addresses one of the biggest issues I had with snowrunners, that no matter how much work you did, the shit roads were still shit, the concrete factory could only ever be reached by a muddy 2 track windy road of doom, and there was nothing you could do about it.

I hope the game gives you the ability to construct roads outside of just missions. It would be nice to pave slowly all the dirt and mud roads and achieve a real sense of progress.
