man that ASUS looks amazing for the price you have it at, its retails here at £120 ish so thats a helluva good deal. makes me wish i could get it but i have to say no, just don't NEED it but i wish i did!

K9A2 showed up in great shape but PCI-e 1 is dead.....nothing with a card in it i wonder whats up with that?

So it didn't work for you either?? I always ran it in the other slots and had no problems.

its fine for now not got time for RMA 3x xfire is good enough for me lol

haha its already modded with a 40mm fan over the chip by the PCI slots (SB?) and the mosfets have a 80mm over them

I would suggest RMAing it since the 2 dark blue PCI-E slots are the ones best used for crossfire (I think the light blue slots only operate at 8x, can't be sure). I had both my 3870's in the dark blue slots and had them both running PCI-E 2.0 16x.

There isn't that much of a difference using the 8x over the 16x at all. Even in CF.

EDIT
Now I don't know about the x2 in CF on 8x that could be different.
