The FirePro 2450 Multi-View was a professional graphics card by ATI, launched in 2009. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the RV620 graphics processor, in its RV620 PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 10.1. Since FirePro 2450 Multi-View does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV620 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 67 mm² and 181 million transistors. FirePro 2450 Multi-View combines two graphics processors to increase performance. It features 40 shading units, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs, per GPU. ATI has paired 512 MB DDR3 memory with the FirePro 2450 Multi-View, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface per GPU (each GPU manages 256 MB). The GPU is operating at a frequency of 400 MHz, memory is running at 400 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI FirePro 2450 Multi-View does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 32 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x VHDCI. FirePro 2450 Multi-View is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface. The card measures 170 mm in length, 69 mm in width, and features a single-slot cooling solution.
