Cooler Master Intros the Hyper 103 CPU Cooler

Cooler Master launched the Hyper 103 compact tower-type CPU cooler it first unveiled way back in June, at the 2013 Computex. Its heatsink features trapezoid aluminium fins that are dimpled and punched to provide turbulence, and improve heat dissipation. Three 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes, which make direct contact with the CPU at the base, convey heat to the fin-stack. A 92 mm PWM-controlled fan, which spins at speeds ranging from 600 to 2,200 RPM, pushing up to 43.1 CFM of air, and with a noise output ranging from 17 dBA to 30 dBA, ventilates it. Measuring 108 mm x 89.5 mm x 138.5 mm (WxDxH), the cooler weighs about 580 g. It's compatible with most modern CPU socket types, including LGA115x, FM2, and AM3+. Expect the Hyper 103 to be priced around $30.

Cooler Master Outs CM Storm QuickFire TK in Cherry MX Green Limited Edition

Cooler Master rolled out its QuickFire TK compact gaming keyboard in a limited edition with Cherry MX Green switches, and Razer-like green key back-lighting. Cherry MX Green switches are preferred for their moderate stiffness, good tactile feedback, and clicky actuation, compared to the smooth push of the Cherry MX Red. The keyboard is otherwise identical to the original, with 377.5 x 138 x 33 mm (LxWxH); 92 keys, including the main cluster, and a number pad; 7 macro multimedia keys, and full NKRO over USB. It's priced at US $122.

CM Storm QuickFire TK Stealth Gaming Keyboard Launches in Europe

Cooler Master Launches GX II Series Mid-Range PSUs

Cooler Master launched the second generation GX series PSUs for value-conscious gaming PC builders. The lineup was first shown to the world at this year's Computex event, held in Taipei. Available in 450W, 550W, and 650W variants, these PSUs feature 80 Plus Bronze certification, single +12V rail design, all standard protection mechanisms, and a unique "always-on" USB header that puts out power even with the system shut down into ErP-compliant deep S5 sleep.

GX II 450W is fit for single-GPU gaming PC builds. In addition to standard 24-pin ATX and 4+4-pin EPS, it offers just one 6-pin PCIe power connector, four SATA power, two Molex, and one Berg. The GX II 550W offers two 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors, six SATA power, three Molex, and one Berg. The GX II 650W features an identical power connector loadout to the 550W variant. All three feature sleeved, and fixed cables. Measuring 150 mm x 140 mm x 86 mm (WxDxH), the three feature 120 mm fans that prioritize low-noise. The three should be priced in the $79 to $109 range.

Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU Cooler Detailed

Cooler Master's latest addition to its Seidon line of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, the Seidon 120V, is set for launch by mid-October. Positioned above the Seidon 120XL, the cooler features a meatier CPU block, and a 27 mm-thick 119 x 154 mm radiator. The cooler is characterized by its cuboid block+pump assembly, which supports a retention module that isn't too different in design to Corsair's Hydro H80i, except that there's no magnetic lock. Four notches at the edges of the block slide into holes on the retention module, holding it in place.

The copper base is rectangular in shape, and features a micro-fin structure where heat from the CPU is dissipated to the flowing coolant. The block+pump assembly measures about 62 mm x 62 mm x 36.4 mm (WxDxH). A 120 mm PWM-controlled fan is included, which spins between 600 and 2,400 RPM, pushing up to 86.15 CFM of air, with up to 40 dBA of noise output (as low as 19 dBA). Cooler master is speaking of improvements to the design of the pump impeller, with ceramic bearings, and a flow chamber that doesn't cave in too easily. Backed by a 2-year warranty, the Seidon 120V from Cooler Master is expected to be priced at US $49.99.

An Icon Redefined, Cooler Master CM 690 III
