Mushkin Showcases Multiple Storage Solutions at CES 2019

Mushkin has been focusing most of its product offerings on the storage area, with multiple product tiers in the SSD space. At CEs 2019, the company put together a booth where it showcased some of its more recent advancements in this product category.

The Pilot-E is an internal NVMe SSD available in 250 GB to 2 TB capacities, with an astonishing up to 3.4 GB/s read and 2.5 GB/s write speeds, powered by an SMI SM226EN controller and 3D TLC NAND. Another lower-tier interpretation of the Pilot-E is the Pilot, which ranges from 120 GB - 2 TB, but uses a slower Silicon Motion SM2262 controller which brings the performance numbers down to 3.2 GB/s and 1.9 GB/s in sequential read and write, respectively.
The Helix-L offering sits lower in Mushkin's performance outputs, and is available in capacities from 120 GB to 2 TB. The Silicon Motion SM2263XT is paired with a DRAMless system which offers up to 2.4 GB/s and 1.7 GB/s in sequential read and write speeds.
Finishing up in the internal solutions department is the Source 2, which makes use of the Silicon Motion SM2263XT controller as well, and is available in capacities from 120 GB to 1 TB. This one maxes out the SATA III bus with its 565 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write speeds.
The Carbon X100 external SSD is available in both chrome and black, and leverages a USB 3.1Gen 2 connection to make your storage as fast and as portable as possible: Mushkin quotes 1000 MB/s read and write operations across the 250 GB - 1 TB offerings.
