EVGA Z590 DARK Motherboard Released to Retail at $600

The EVGA Z590 DARK once again strikes fear into the hearts of other Z590 motherboards by combining every ounce of power available to the Intel Z590 chipset and fine-tuning it to perfection. This armed and fully-operational motherboard is born from a 10-layer PCB and powered by a 21-Phase VRM. With support for PCIe Gen4 graphics cards and M.2 NVMe SSDs, overclockers have nothing to fear when shooting for the highest scores in any benchmark.

For everyone else, the Z590 DARK is loaded with over a dozen USB options, eight SATA ports, two 2.5 Gbps NICs + WiFi 6/BT 5.1, 7.1 Channel HD Audio, three M.2 Key-M slots, and two fan headers dedicated to AIO CPU Coolers. As a wise overclocker once said, "Once you start down the DARK path, forever will it dominate your destiny." and with the EVGA Z590 DARK, that destiny is sure to be filled with shattered records and countless victories on the battlefield.

What’s the deal with this rotated socker (and memory slots)?

Probably for optimised trace lengths and signal integrity.

I think a modern GPU would be a tight fit at best in the top 16x slot because of that huge cooler.

You need Elite status to actually buy it though for the first 24hrs, For the first 24hrs the Z590 will be available to EVGA Elite members. You need 100 posts on the forum, or two qualifying items.

Board looks fantastic. Be interesting to see if any pro overclockers have a bash on this.

another Z590, I mean yeah its a cool niche product but we will have Alderlake soon tm if all is well, why are these released so late?

Now if only Intel wasnt so eager to change sockets....

Better for OC, helps with distributing power.

they should have make more space for pci slot because nowadays, there is a block as backplate especially made for 3090 to cool down vrm. Thats gonna be tight i think

Nice motherboard, shame it has to have a crappy intel 11th gen CPU to operate it. Hard pass for me, i'll wait for Alder Lake or Raptor Lake

Very very very nice looking board, I like only 2 ram slots on the top, and all cable management on the side.

For me it's nice

Hi,
Same price as asus 13 apex
Of course z490 apex was 400.us lol so you must add the 200.us pci-e4 tax and there you have it

Pressing thumb on socket pins is a asus rma practice

Overclocking doesn't care about sockets tbf. Daily users aren't the target audience of this thing I imagine...

Am I the only one who's not a fan of the design? It looks like it's been cobbled together from parts they had lying around, no synergy in the design. Reminds me of the old Asus Striker II Formula board

Dude I love those types of boards, look at all the color! The variety! The functional heatsinks!

As opposed to the all dark color RGB infested aluminum block having designs fo today, that board is a breath of fresh air.

There are only 2 dimm slots.. and the capacitors are not military class. too bad for a premium board.
