Get Ready to Game with the Dolce&Gabbana|Razer Collection

Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, and Dolce&Gabbana, renowned Italian luxury fashion house, unveiled their highly-anticipated collaboration collection at RazerCon 2023. Brought to the center stage by Min-Liang Tan, CEO and Co-Founder of Razer, the groundbreaking collection merges high-end fashion with cutting-edge gaming technology, featuring ready-to-wear apparel, gaming peripherals, and the world's first Razer Chroma RGB chair.

"Razer is no stranger to pushing boundaries in both gaming and style, as evidenced by our in-house apparel collections and fashion-forward partnerships. Tradition and innovation have always been at the heart of our philosophy from the very beginning. This is an exciting new milestone on our journey."

**D&G slaps labels all over a chair** Much innovation. Such Creativity. Such Inspiration

Reminds me of an old episode of top gear.

The catch is PC gaming is not about gaming. It hasn't been for some time. PC gaming is lifestyle gaming first and foremost. You think it's stupid, I think it's stupid, and it is stupid. But PC gaming is about branding and expressing yourself and not about playing games. Console gaming is about playing games with console wars and most people's PCs suck compared to modern consoles when it comes to playing games.

Razer is many things but they aren't dumb. This crap will sell like crazy and people will buy the shit out of it.

I've always disliked 'exhibited' brand names on apparel and on everything else really. Some minimalistic iconic logo/design is workable but "in-yer-face" large and bold branding is just as despised as the RGB circus. I'm less sensitive when it comes to tech... got a big ass NZXT in my face coming from my X62 pump and absolutely love the EVGA lit up on my GPU (hypocrisy maybe?)

Razer might be on to something for the social-media and brand-enthusiast crowd and we can't knock them for it. Its business! If it sells, its one hell of a punt. Plenty of cash-savvy self-gratifying folk out there willing to splash out on this sort of stuff.... not for me though!

Eh, call me when they have the Louis Vuitton gamer chairs and headsets made with virgin leather and cashmere cloth. I want to see how wild it'd get.

This is definitely a new niche in PC gaming. But - it IS niche, its just being blown up by marketing, because those margins, I mean, they're drool worthy. Plastic reinvented, reinvented, branded. Underneath all of it they're still selling inferior junk.

PC gaming is still primarily about gaming. As so very often in this segment the PC caters to all kinds of people, its part of its identity, always has been. This is also why PC gaming never dies, even though it seems to fall off the cliff every five years or so.

I doubt most Chavs are intelligent enough to use a PC, let alone build one. I am from the UK btw.
