Cooler Master Introduces the Ncore 100 Max. A Revolutionary Leap in SFF PC Case Design

Cooler Master, a leading provider of PC components, gaming peripherals, and tech lifestyle solutions, has today announced the launch of its groundbreaking Mini-ITX case product, the Ncore 100 Max. This launch marks a pivotal moment in small form factor (SFF) PC case design, blending high performance with a remarkably compact footprint. The Ncore 100 Max is engineered for enthusiasts, gamers, and creative professionals who prioritize both space efficiency and performance.

The Ncore 100 Max is more than just a PC case; it's a paradigm shift in SFF design. The Max is made of aluminium alloy with a volume of only 15.7 liters, and it integrates both a 38 mm custom AIO liquid cooling system and a V SFX Gold ATX 3.0 850 W PSU. The Max's width can extend from 155 mm to 172 mm and accommodate a 3.9-slot GPU, perfect for the latest 40 series cards. The Ncore 100 Max is a revolutionary product.
"Cooler Master has always been at the forefront of innovation and, with the Ncore 100 Max, we're pushing the boundaries of SFF design," said Jimmy Sha, Cooler Master CEO. "Our vision was to create a case that is not only compact, cool, and capable of housing the latest and most powerful components, but also a joy to build in."

Key features of the Ncore 100 Max are:
  • Compact Power: The Ncore 100 Max integrates the V SFX Gold 850 W ATX 3.0 PSU, delivering top-tier performance in a minimal space. This makes it an ideal choice for desktop warriors who need high power in limited space.
  • Advanced Cooling Solutions: True to Cooler Master's heritage, the Ncore 100 Max features advanced thermal solutions, including a 38 mm-thick liquid cooling radiator and custom-designed fan ensuring optimal performance even under intense gaming conditions.
  • Sleek Minimalist Design: The case's anodized aluminium body and extendable width (155 mm to 172 mm) is a blend of modern elegance and functionality, delivering a clean, modern design that looks as good as it performs.
  • Room for Today's GPUs: The case's innovative design allows it to house the most massive GPUs, offering a perfect SFF solution for power users, including full compatibility with the 4090 GPU.
The Ncore 100 Max is now available through Cooler Master's network of retailers.

Extremely Nice - I am surprised that manufacturers make such nice cases without options for complete water cooling systems.

Check out singularity computers . You need deep pockets but the quality and water cooling support is top notch. I owned an earlier version of their wraith case and was blown away

Looks like a really nice case on the outside, but after reading thru several reviews, there just seems to be too many compromises on the insides IMO....yea I know it's an SFF box but still, I can't imagine very many folks would tolerate the limitations, especially not nit-picky crowd that they seem to be targeting :)

How fitting they lined up a grizzled looking reviewer to review a glorified electric razor foil.

Could you summarize the video?
Does he come out the back end wearing all black and transformed into an aesthete?

He had the Max, so all cable routing was already done, it comes with thick AIO on top (he compared it to two 140s stacked on top of each other) and 850W SFX PSU, GPU cables go out at the bottom with enough height so you can avoid hard angles. The only gripe he had was the front panel header connector when running the B650i from Gigabyte, which didn't match the one on case end. 2-slot GPUs may have an issue with the 90 deg 12VHPWR (450W variant, 600W only comes with higher wattage PSU from them) connector that comes with the case bundle. 3-slot GPUs have enough room in default config, 4-slot fit once you use the extended layout which he recommends even for the 3-slot cards because you can never have too much airflow. He also mentioned that the case could use some space between the back of the GPU and the motherboard tray because depending on the GPU it can get a bit toasty in there but he didn't have any thermal issues with 4090 FE.

If you were trying to make me feel bad by taking that seriously. You did.

The whole thing was a setup to make fun of the case looking like it should be mounted on the tip of an electric razor. Being reviewed by someone who hadn't shaved in awhile.

I'd call that a "Dual Cooling Zone" design. if I ever saw one. :D
The prospective utility of the design is far more attractive than its fashionability, IMO. Thanks for pic.
A Press Piece w/ only 'flashy/fashionable' (external) images does not appeal to me, at all. TBQH, I'd assumed most-every gamer, enthusiast, etc. wants Specs, Price, and Nekkid/Internal pics, up front.
