When even the demo "Requires 3rd-Party Account: Ubisoft Connect launcher (Supports Linking to Steam Account)" and the reviews are overwhelmingly negative and the dev this late in the release cycle offers a 'free demo' you know things are not going well.
I dont mind linking my steam account to Ubisoft or EA, but what I will need entertaine for any reason, is thier sh!tty launchers. Untill this B$ requirement is nixed, its ALWAYS going to be a hard pass. I wouldnt even play a US/EA game if they were free due just how bad thier launchers are.
