The last time Thermalright gave a "Full Copper" twist to one of its bestselling CPU coolers was 10 years ago. The AXP-100 Full Copper sees the coming together of a pure copper fin-stack, six 6 mm exposed copper heat pipes, a copper base for indirect transfer to the heat pipes, and a reddish-orange fan. The height of the heatsink is 44 mm, which interestingly, is less than even that of the AXP-100 RH (reduced height) variant. The heatsink measures 108 mm x 121 mm x 44 mm (WxDxH), weighing 640 g, almost double that of the AXP-100 RH, and about the same as the AXP-100 Muscle. The included TY-100 fan is a 120 mm spinner, with a range of 900 to 2,500 RPM, PWM input, 16 to 44.5 CFM air-flow, and 22 to 30 dBA noise output. Among the sockets supported are LGA2066, LGA115x, and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ID-COOLING a cooling solution provider focusing on thermal dissipation and fan technology research and production for over 10 years, announced ZOOMFLOW 240 AIO water cooler, featuring a brand new pump design and Addressable RGB lighting on both the pump and fans at the same time synchronizing with motherboard RGB control.

Tech Day slides leaked to the web by Kitguru provide a confirmation of how AMD is wiring out the additional two dies on the 24-core and 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 2000-series MCMs on the socket TR4 platform. We had speculated that because the quad-channel DDR4 memory and PCIe interfaces are wired to two diagonally-opposite dies on AMD X399 chipset motherboards; in the interest of backwards compatibility, AMD could wire out memory and PCIe from just two out of four dies on the multi-chip module, and have the two additional dies seek memory and PCIe over the InfinityFabric interfaces.

The obvious trade-offs with this design choice is that latencies to the dies with indirect memory/PCIe access are higher, and that reflects heavily in AMD's own performance figures for comparing the 32-core 2990WX with the 16-core 2950X from the same generation. The 2990WX is "only" up to 64 percent faster than 2950X at Cinebench R15 nT, despite having double the number of cores. To its credit, the 2950X has higher clock-speeds (3.50 GHz nominal with 4.40 GHz boost) than the 2990WX (3.00 GHz nominal with 4.00 GHz boost). The presentation also puts out interesting bits of information such as AMD's own performance numbers showing 10-15 percent performance gains between the 2950X and the 1950X; and performance gains of the 2990WX over Intel Core i9-7980XE.

ID-Cooling introduced the SE-912i, a low-cost tower-type CPU cooler. The cooler comes in two variants based on the color of the fan's LED illumination, SE-912i-R (red) and SE-912i-B (blue). What's being sold here is a very "slim" tower-type cooler (with a thickness of just 63 mm), but it really is just an aluminium fin-stack meant for 92 mm fans, strapped onto a larger 120 mm fan, with a lot of the fan's airflow bypassing the fin-stack, which could be good to check air bleeding from the sides of the fin-stack.

Two 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes make direct contact with the CPU at an aluminium base. The cooler only supports LGA115x and LGA1366 sockets, with the retention module attached to the base out of the box. The included fan takes in 3-pin power input, spinning at 1,600 RPM at 12V, pushing up to 58.4 CFM of air, with a maximum noise output of 26.4 dBA. Measuring 63 mm x 120 mm x 130 mm (DxWxH, including fan), the cooler weighs about 295 g. It is expected to be priced around $20.

Antec Inc., leading provider of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself market, are launching a new series of All-in-One Liquid CPU Cooling, the Mercury RGB series. The Antec Mercury coolers are commercially available now for 81 Euros (Mercury 120 RGB), 109 Euros (Mercury 240 RGB) and 136 Euros (Mercury 360 RGB).

The new Antec Mercury RGB CPU Cooler Series is engineered to keep the CPU cool for up to 40,000 hours. Corsair today rolled out the second generation Hydro H75 all-in-one liquid CPU cooler (model: CW-9060035-WW). A successor to the original H75 from 2013, the new 2018 Hydro H75 has four major design changes. First, you get the modern octagonal pump-block with ceramic bearings, higher coolant pressure, and white LED illumination. Second, you get more durable tubing with braided fiber outer layer. Third, you get the slightly thicker (27 mm) 120 mm aluminium radiator. You get not one, but two SP120 PWM fans that spin up to 1,900 RPM, pushing up to 64 CFM of air, at up to 31 dBA noise output, each. You install these fans in a push-pull configuration. Lastly, there's support for some of the newer CPU sockets, such as AM4 and LGA2066. Available now, the new Corsair Hydro H75 is priced at USD $89.99.

Cooler Master rolled out TUF Gaming Alliance variants of two of its recently launched MasterAir series CPU coolers, the MA410M and MA620P, suffixed with "TUF Edition." The two are practically identical to the originals, but have a few design bits from ASUS' The Ultimate Force (TUF) color scheme. The MA410M TUF Edition features the urban camo insert along its top-plate, and yellow accents. The MA620P TUF Edition features a matte black top-plate with black heat-pipe caps; and a more restrained TUF urban camo print, with yellow accents. Both coolers feature variants of the MF120 fans that have yellow silicone dampeners along the mount holes of the frame; and a TUF Gaming Alliance logo on the impeller's hub. The company didn't reveal pricing.

DeepCool probably intended for its name to read like "frozen," but ended up with the name "Fryzen," which is what I'd call a fried (dead) Ryzen. The GamerStorm Fryzen is a large tower-type CPU air cooler designed for AMD socket TR4. Its 68 mm x 46 mm base offers 100% coverage of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper IHS (integrated heatspreader), although it also supports AM4. It takes advantage of this large nickel-plated copper base to pass six 6 mm heat-pipes through the longer side, such that heat pipes line the width of the aluminium fin-stack, rather than the edges. The fin-stack is capped off by a stylish top-plate with an RGB LED diffuser.

The included 120 mm fan spins between 500 to 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 64 CFM of air, with noise output ranging between 17.8-41.5 dBA. The fan features fluid-dynamic bearing, and an X-shaped RGB LED diffuser along its uniquely shaped frame. With the fan installed the Fryzen measures 124 mm x 81.5 mm x 164.6 mm (WxDxH), with little or no intrusion into the memory slots on either side of the CPU socket. It weighs 1.18 kg. Its various RGB LED diffusers take in standardized addressable RGB LED header input, supporting most software control standards. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Back in 2011, a team of engineers with the Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico, proposed an audacious new chip air-cooling concept called simply the Sandia CPU cooler. Its design involved a chunky metallic fan not just ventilating the cooler, but also dissipating heat by itself, conveyed through a thin layer of conductive lubricant between the fan and the static heatsink below it. The concept itself never made it to commercial production, but Thermaltake brought something closely resembling it to the market in 2016, with the Engine 27. The company is giving this cooler an even smaller sibling, with the new Engine 17. The number in the model name refers to its Z-height of just 17 mm, making it comfortable for 1U builds.

Besides its reduced Z-height, the design is practically unchanged from the Engine 27 - a round, nickel-plated copper base-plate draws heat from the CPU, which is mated with a 60 mm diameter metallic fan that not just dissipates heat by itself, but also passes air through a ring of aluminium fin channels projecting radially. The reduced height means that this cooler can only handle thermal loads of up to 35W TDP. It only supports Intel LGA115x sockets. Despite its weight, the fan spins between 1,500 to 2,500 RPM, pushing about 9 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 11 to 23 dBA. Measuring 91.5 mm x 91.5 mm x 17 mm, it weighs 205 g. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Zalman showed off its Oymyakon series all-in-one liquid CPU coolers. According to Google, Oymyakon is the coldest permanently inhabited place on Earth, and is located somewhere in northeast Russia. The coolers combine a copper cold-plate with an aluminium radiator, and double-sealed tubing between them. The pump-block features a hexagonal outer shell with LEDs embedded. The coolers come in three variants based on radiator size, the Oymyakon ZM-EQ120, Oymyakon ZM-EQ240, and Oymyakon ZM-EQ360, capable of handling thermal loads of up to 250W, 350W, and 400W TDP, respectively. The three include Zalman's SharkFin fans with a maximum noise output of 28 dBA, each.

GELID showed off the Sirroco CPU cooler. This tower-type air cooler features a heavy heatsink coupled with an innovative new fan design from the company. It features a tower-type design, but the aluminium fin-stack is slightly offset away from the motherboard's memory area, for more clearance. Six nickel-plated copper heat pipes make indirect contact with the CPU through a copper base, conveying heat through the fin-stack, which is then ventilated by a Radiant D 120 mm spinner. The included fan features a unique new impeller with sawtooth blade edges to act like chevrons and minimize noise output, a double ball-bearing hub, 4-pin PWM control, and RGB LED lighting over 9 diodes (standard 4-pin RGB header). The cooler can handle thermal loads of up to 200W, and should support a variety of modern CPU sockets.

DeepCool today rolled out the Maelstrom 240 RGB all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. What sets this cooler from the company apart from its other AIO coolers, is support for motherboard-based control standards, such as ASUS Aura Sync RGB, ASRock Polychrome RGB, MSI Mystic Light RGB, and GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, giving you control through your motherboard. The cooler features a pair of RGB LED studded 120 mm fans, which plug into your motherboard's 4-pin RGB LED header. As the name suggests, this cooler features a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator.

The pump-block features a copper base, with a ceramic bearing pump. The included fans spin between 500 to 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 69.34 CFM of air, and noise output ranging between 17.8-30 CFM, each. The cooler supports most modern CPU socket types, including LGA 2066, LGA2011(v3), LGA115x, AM4, AM3(+), and FM2(+). The company didn't reveal pricing.

Jonsbo introduced the CR-201 RGB CPU cooler. This aluminium fin-stack cooler features a tower-type heatsink capped off with an RGB LED studded top-plate and fan. The heatsink features a conventional design, with four 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes making direct contact with the CPU at the base, conveying heat to the aluminium fin-stack. Both the aluminium fins and the heat pipes are black. An acrylic top-plate caps off the fin-stack. The included 120 mm fan takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 800 to 1,500 RPM, pushing 21.6 to 52.1 CFM of air, and has a proportionate noise range of 18.5 to 30.8 dBA. Measuring 129 mm x 160 mm x 94 mm (WxHxD), it weighs about 971 g. Capable of handling thermal loads of up to 135W, the cooler supports sockets LGA115x and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

The cooler features a dense "C-type" design, in which an aluminium fin-stack projects along the plane of the motherboard, in very close proximity to an aluminium heatsink base, the two are connected by six 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes, which make indirect contact with the CPU, through a copper base.

A 15 mm-thick 120 mm fan blows air through the fin-stack. This hydraulic bearing fan takes in 4-pin (PWM) input, spins between 600 to 1,600 RPM, pushing up to 53.6 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 13.8-30.2 dB(A). The cooler supports mainstream desktop sockets, including AM4, AM3(+), FM2(+), and LGA115x. Measuring 120 mm x 125 mm x 55 mm, including the fan, the cooler weighs about 470 g. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Cooler Master, a global leader in manufacturing CPU coolers, computer components and peripherals, introduces its first addressable RGB all-in-one (AIO) liquid CPU coolers. The MasterLiquid ML240R RGB and MasterLiquid ML120R RGB are certified compatible with ASUS, MSI and ASRock motherboards and feature addressable RGB LEDs on both the fans and water block.

16.7 Million Color Customizing with Software or Wired Controller

Thermalright today introduced a pair of high-end CPU air coolers specially designed for AMD socket AM4 processors, the ARO-M14. Available in two variants, the ARO-M14G with a grey top-plate, and the ARO-M14O, with a "Ryzen Orange" top-plate, the two coolers are heavily based on the company's HR-02 Macho Rev B cooler, but feature socket AM4 retention modules (support no other socket), an embossed Ryzen logo on the top-plate, and come with pre-applied thermal paste. A 2 g Chill Factor syringe is included for future top-ups.

The ARO-M14 features a large aluminium fin-stack that propagates at an offset from the base, for additional memory area clearance. Unlike the Macho Direct, it features a nickel-plated copper base through which six 6 mm-thick heat-pipes pass, indirectly drawing heat. The aluminium fin-stack is capped off by a die-cast metal plate. An included TY-147 A 140 mm fan, spinning between 300 - 1,300 RPM, pushes air through the heatsink at 28.7 - 125 m³/h, with a noise output of 15 - 21 dB(A). Thermalright claims the cooler can handle TDP of up to 240W. The company didn't reveal pricing.
