Verbatim Launches 12 GB/s PCIe 5.0 SSD and More at IFA

Verbatim, a global leader in data storage and computer peripherals, is pleased to announce its participation in this year's IFA exhibition in Berlin (01-05 Sept 2023). Attendees at the Verbatim stand, located in Hall 10.2, Booth 112, will have the opportunity to explore an impressive selection of new storage products and mobile and desktop accessories designed to enhance everyday practicality, efficiency, and peace of mind.

Innovative SSDs take centre stage
Verbatim will be proud to demonstrate its new Vi12000 Generation 5 PCIe NVMe M.2 internal SSD, one of the fastest internal SSDs on the market, with read / write speeds of 12300 MB/s and 11,888 MB/s respectively. Alongside this flagship product, Verbatim will also present an assortment of internal and external SSDs, including the Vi7000G internal SSD, tailored for gaming enthusiasts and compatible with PlayStation 5 consoles.

Verbatim will also showcase its portable monitors, designed to seamlessly extend the display capabilities of PCs, laptops, tablets or phones. The My Finder Bluetooth Tracker
Verbatim will also introduce its new My Finder Bluetooth Tracker, a practical solution to help users track their belongings using their smartphones. Exclusive compatibility with Apple's Find My App allows for easy monitoring and recovery of valuables such as keys, bags, and even pets!

Innovative Accessories and Comprehensive Storage Solutions
Beyond SSDs, monitors and trackers, Verbatim will highlight its array of new accessories, including GaN chargers, hubs and docks, mini projectors, dashcams, Magsafe chargers, and the company's range of gaming products under its exciting SureFire brand. Yep, a fast SSD (same as other brands though), and to think that you only need a heatsink AND a small, whiney, loud-assed fan to get/maintain those speeds, hehehe :)

Verbatim died 20 years ago.
The brand was purchased in 2019 by CMC Magnetics, a Taiwanese company for 32 million USD (aka pocket change), so they can use the name for all sort of cheap/low quality crap. Similar to the fate of Grundig, Philips display etc
