CHERRY Full Lineup of Next-Gen Switches to Debut at COMPUTEX 2025

At Computex 2025, CHERRY prepares four new switches, starting with the debut of the IK inductive switch series and the introduction of three new mechanical switches based on the MX platform: MX Honey, MX Blossom, and MX Falcon. The CHERRY IK analog switch uses electromagnetic induction to detect key presses without physical contact between parts. This contactless design eliminates wear while using 50% less power than magnetic switches and 95% less than Hall effect switches. The IK switches will be available this Fall.

Next we have CHERRY's MX Honey, their first silent tactile MX switch, built on the updated MX2A platform. It gives noticeable tactile feedback without the usual noise, thanks to a redesigned spring and factory lubrication. The switch is rated for over 100 million key presses, with availability starting in June 2025, while 36-switch consumer kits will follow.
