Ocypus Cooling and Cases at 2025 Computex: Edgy with Curves
Ocypus brought a slick new lineup of gaming PC cooling and cases to Computex 2025. We begin our tour with the Sigma L36 Pro, a premium AIO CLC with a cubical pump-block crowned with a 3.5-inch, high-quality true-color display with 640 x 480 pixels resolution, which appears elevated from the rest of the block, which itself is framed by an ARGB diffuser. The cooler comes in black and white color options, and this particular model, as its name suggests, comes with a 360 mm radiator. Ocypus had the display cycle some high-res video clips to demonstrate its quality. Next up, is the Sigma L36 ARGB, which is mostly the same cooler as the L36 Pro, but with a smaller, lower-resolution screen that's surrounded by a ring-shaped design element. The screen is detachable from the rest of the block. While the L36 Pro and L36 ARGB are in production, what's new and upcoming is the Sigma Ultra.
The upcoming Ocypus Sigma Ultra will be the company's flagship CLC product, with a round true-color LCD surrounded by a ring-shaped ARGB diffuser. What's unique to this cooler is its side cowling that opens up like a commercial jet engine with its thrust reversers engaged. These panels then guide airflow from a small fan onto the VRM area of the motherboard when the software controlling the cooler detects high VRM temperatures if they're exposed via ACPI; although you can manually set it to open, close, or stay halfway. The cooler also includes a compound fan that reduces cable clutter.
