I’d like to see the prices. QCK was a legendary name… a decade ago. In the age of Xraypad and EspTiger providing near-Artisan options at budget prices I want to see just how brazen SteelSeries think they can be.

Well, I was thinking about getting a new mousepad. Perfect timing. We'll see if the prices are where they should be though..

I am going to shamelessly shill here, but… Honestly, just grab an EspTiger Tang Dao. Any of them. It’s great. It’s an Artizan Zero for a fraction of the price. Like 35 bucks for a large one. 40 if you want a poron base badly. Great pad. Absolute peak IMO. Everyone who’s remotely interested in cloth pads should get one. Honestly, it’s my generic recommendation these days. A decade ago, it was the QCK. Couple of years ago - probably the Aqua Control. Today? Yeah, just get the Tang Dao.

You do realize some people also like to use mouse pads as a way to protect both their desktop and preserve their mouse feet, right?

reviews are out and some of the variants seem like they're actually good
didn't expect qck to become relevant again in the year 2025

Probably true, but since my desktop surface is coated with a super-smooth, uber-durable, super-slick spar urethane finish, this is not an issue for me :)
